COVID REVIEWI found it cool that you don't even really have to go in. They had food ready in bags and a server to help you find yours so you didn't even have to go in.We ordered the meal for 4 with coleslaw, edamame, corn, mash, chillies, Mac n cheese. Chicken was awesome!! The batter was seasoned so so well. I loved the flavor and my family and I all noticed that the sides were all yum too. Definitely recommend the chillies!

This restaurant serves some of the best fried chicken I've ever had. Period. It's that good. The breading is delicate and well-seasoned. The chicken is super juicy and not overcooked. But on top of the awesome chicken, there are mind-blowing, amazing sides! The sides!! Don't miss the dashi collard greens.This place is crowded so come early.

Some of the best tasting fried chicken I've had! Be prepared for a line-up, it can take a while to get a seat but it's worth it. Everything was delicious! From the fried chicken, to the chicken rice, fried brussels sprouts, and mac and cheese. Plastic gloves are also provided to keep your hands clean, as well as mild / spicy ponzu sauce to put all over your fried chicken.

Overall place and service was great, however the food didn't really live up to the hype. The chicken was crispy however it was really plain and the chicken rice have like an oily and greasy taste to it which is weird. I would say, it's a great place to experience but I would not recommend to go daily.

Fantastic and flavorful food, I love the ambience this place has, and the workers were super nice. Will definitely visit here when I’m around.

If you haven't tried it... I highly suggest you stop playing yourself. For your first time order everything you can afford especially the sides. Order to go more than fine in if your are really super hungry.

Fried chicken is very good. We had mac & cheese, soy marinated yams, Sapporo yuzu beer, yuzu Lemonade & 9 pieces fried chicken. The is small about a dozen tables. There is usually a line. Wait is approximately 30-45 mins. If you don’t like to wait come early. Service is fantastic.

Love their friend chicken. They have two sauces that they give you that are not spicy and spicy, personally the spicy is not that spicy but it adds the perfect amount of kick to it. The sides range from tofu to their type of collard greens. All the sides are pretty good. It is a small place with few seating options. They do serve alcohol.

It's an okay place, but we are willing to give them a try again. Very creative in combining the southern and Asian flavors. However, the portion was very small for the price they charged. The cooked side dishes were overcook. Chicken good flavor but very small size.

Very juicy fried chicken! Worth the wait to go here. I over ordered on food between 2 people, but took the rest home and it was still really good even as leftovers.

Hands down, this is the BEST FRIED CHICKEN joint you will ever find. Tastiest, most delish fried chicken made fresh with all the best sides to accompany your meal. A lot of fried chicken restaurants don’t wow me but this one beats them all. The wait is gonna be long if you come for dinner rush, but it is totally worth the wait.

Located in a small plaza with free parking . The restaurant itself is tiny , maybe fits 25-30 people . So this place is not good for big groups . They do have a restroom for customers to use , which is great even though the restaurant itself is small. Everything that we tried at this place was great tasting . The wait was so worth it , from the side dishes to the fried chicken and rice . Will be back for sure , wish they opened longer hours though .

Had a very good experience here with my son. The food was served quick and the customer service is just good. Prices are convenient.

I’ll start with the bad. Music is loud and the cold tofu should not be on the menu. The chicken 🍗 was good. Tender meat and crispy skin ✅. The beans were good too. More flavor would be good for the price.

I was pretty pumped for this place because I've heard so much talk about it, but it was just good, not great. I had a chicken breast and my batter was still raw in some areas. The side dishes were delicious, however. The mojos and brussel sprouts were just delectable.

Abit Pricey but high quality food. The rice is phenomenal, coleslaw hands down best I had at any chicken establishment. Chicken had light seasoning that no doubt woulda have tasted better hot. Had to drive home 30 hr. Home before I ate it. Next time dining in if I could get a seat. Place is small. Nice attractive people provided good service.

This spot never fails me! If I’m looking for great fried chicken I always come here! The chicken rice is amazing, mashed potatoes phenomenal, curry corn is out of this world! The spicy ponzu sauce is great on the chicken. I’ve sampled a lot of fried chicken and this is at the Top underneath my grannies fried chicken of course! This place makes me so happy it brings joy to my belly! 😂

I liked the rice the most... I really don’t get why they charge for the yuzu sauce because it’s not so special.

Finally got to try their famous fried chicken and popular sides. We waited about 20 mins on a weeknight, which was not bad! Would love to come back to try other sides. Love their unlimited green tea as well!

Amazing food. Had the 3 person dinner and it was the perfect amount of food. The breading on the chicken was a tad oily and crumbly but still absolutely delicious. For sides we had the tofu, shishito peppers, and soy glazed yams. Will 1000% return, one of the most satisfying meals I've had in a long time. Parking is a little rough but don't let that stop you from enjoying this place.

I wish I could give it 10 out of 5 stars. The only issue I had with this restaurant was parking is difficult to find but what isn't in the 626. The Fried Chicken was juicy and the the sides and toppings they that you can add onto were amazing. If you are a lover of Fried Chicken you have to go to this place

Long Wait, Good Friend Chicken. This place has an Asian take on fried chicken and it's amazing. Helps to order your meal when you're waiting in line. when we sat down we only had to wait a few minutes before our food came. Curry Cream Corn and Glad Yams we're good sides. The Yuzu lemonade was good too and you get free refills as well. The staff is also really nice! They came by and checked on uh at least a few times.

Best fried chicken I have ever had, tasty, not necessarily healthy, because it is deep fried, but it is perfectly fried. Its so crunchy outside and so tender inside, amazing.

Always my favorite place for fried chicken that comes with delicious sides. I've brought so many friends here and they've always come back for me. The decor is cute, the service is great, and everything here just screams wonderful. This is definitely number 1 on my list of fried chicken in LA.

Since this place is so popular, there were plenty of parking spots at the back of the plaza. Make sure you get there early if you don't plan to wait for more than an hour!There aren't that many seats inside the restaurant, but the servers are extremely attentive and serve you ASAP. The chicken is absolutely delicious!!! It was moist, but not oily. The ponzu sauce was delicious and paired well with the chicken.

Finest spot to grab food when in a hurry. Their customer service is quick, prices are convenient, fantastic atmosphere. Will come visit again

We had a craving for k-wings and this place hit the spot. The soy garlic wings were very crispy and juicy. We paired this with the beef fried rice and walked away satisfied.

Very delicious fried chicken. We ordered curry corn and Mac and cheese. I savored every bite. Very courteous service, and we came at a convenient time with little to no wait.

One of the best fried chicken fusion. Chicken crispy outside, juicy inside melt into your mouth. Never expected the fusion with southern style work really well. Most recommended mac and cheese, try to order the whole dish instead of upgrading sides. Bigger portion well presented. Also collard greens braised in dashi broth...... my god so good... you gotta try this place.......

Delicious fried chicken and sides all with Japanese flavor twists. Very well done. Especially enjoyed the fried chicken with the spicy sauce poured over it and the soy glazed yams. Can't comment on the service or speed since we ordered to go and ate it across the street on the benches before doing an escape room.

Our party was here at 5:30 when they opened, still had to wait over an hour. Really not worth it for groups larger than 4. Personally I enjoyed the sides more than the actual chicken. If you enjoy more of the fried skin, you’ll like this place. For my taste, the chicken just didn’t do it for me.

I adore this place very much. It has a very special ambiance. The cuisine is great. the service is efficient and the team is very professional. The cost is modest. I definitely recommend.
